Faculty Senate Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

  • An applicant must be the son or daughter of a full-time faculty member of Northern Kentucky University, and must be an undergraduate student when the scholarship is in force.
  • The applicant must be a NKU student, or must have an admissions application on file with the Admissions Office.
  • The applicant must register for 12 or more semester hours, during the two semesters the scholarship can be used. The classes taken must count towards a degree program.
  • If not on file with the university, the applicant must submit ACT scores, high school transcript(s), and if applicable, college transcript(s).
    • This documentation is not intended to limit the applicants. They are encouraged to submit all documentation, which would improve their chances of selection.
  • The top three applicants will be interviewed by the Selection Committee of the Faculty Benefits Committee and a representative of the Financial Aid Office. The applicant must appear at the scheduled meeting.
  • The Application for Scholarship form may be acquired from the Faculty Senate Office, AC 105, or by contacting X-6400 or by e-mailing the office secretary at hilesg1@nku.edu.

Deadline

The Faculty Senate Scholarship application was due April 2010. Please check back in the fall for details on the scholarship for 2010-2011 school year.
